MASKING TAPE AND FLUID... duhh
Both are unique in their properties and both would be nice and many watercolor artists would say absolutely necessary in the watercolorists arsenal. the liquid gives an organic and puddle like protection to the paper your working on, good for trees or large amount of shine on water. masking tape when cut with a knife or ripped may give a similar feeling but more often than not its much more geometric, but its all about how you use it and how you enjoy it, worth a try!! here are some recommendations:
